Art Instructors
Jester Artspace always looking for skilled artists and craftspersons with teaching experience to lead innovative workshops of all media. We would like our teaching artists and craftspersons to possess a high level of accomplishment. A degree in studio art is not required; however, skills, abilities and work experience should be exceptional. We will ask that you work with us to help promote your class. Send us a resume that indicates teaching experience, a cover letter, three images of your studio work, student work, and/or your innovative workshop ideas. Pay rate is competitive.
After you reach out, we may schedule an informal chat about your ideas. If we agree on an idea, we will provide you a link to our intake form. Please keep our timelines in mind:

Sketch models
Jester Artspace hosts 2-hour sketch events most months, usually on a Saturday. We are always in need of visually unique people with interesting attire. No previous experience, we are just looking for new people to draw. Must be willing to hold a pose for up to 20 minutes at a time. Absolutely must be on time. Previous models have included historical reenactors, cosplayers, etc. Examples of desirable outfits might include tradespeople, traditional ethnic costumes, family heirloom, sports uniform, etc. We pay $60 for a 2-hour session.
